Glencoe and Glen Etive Community Council is a voluntary organisation set up by the Highland Council to act on behalf of the area and community, comprised of residents who care about their community and want to make it a better place to live.

What Do We Do?

Glencoe and Glen Etive Community SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Institution) is a charitable body which works alongside the Community Council.  Formerly Glencoe and Glen Etive Community Company, it received SCIO status in 2021.

The main purpose of the SCIO is to administer the Community Fund that receives monetary donations on behalf of the community from Edge Hydro Holdings Ltd, the operators of 7 hydroelectric schemes in in Glen Etive.
