Glencoe Heritage Trust
Charitable trust set up by local crofter Alistair MacDonald to purchase and safeguard land sold off from the old Glencoe Estate in 2002. Community volunteers are active in maintaining the land and in efforts such as distributing firewood from fallen trees to elderly residents. The Trust has repaid a significant amount of the original purchase loan, but is actively fundraising to repay the remainder. Help them make their 10th anniversary year one to celebrate!
