Community Council

What do we do?

Glencoe and Glen Etive Community Council is a voluntary organisation set up by the Highland Council to act on behalf of the area and community.  Comprised of residents who care about their community and want to make it a better place to live.

The Community Council is currently working on a range of projects to benefit the community, including:-

• Operating a temporary car park for the summer season.
• Working with Highland Council on a proposed new permanent car park for visitors
• Negotiating with the relevant authorities on traffic calming measures for the village and surrounding area.
• Litter management.
• Landscaping in the village public areas.
